Jim Douglas

President and Chief Executive Officer

As president and chief executive officer, Jim Douglas is responsible for all aspects of the Wind River business globally. With more than 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry, he is working to advance the company’s position as a leading provider of software for IoT by expanding its reach in both new and existing markets and by growing its comprehensive edge-to-cloud portfolio with innovative, industry-leading products. Before assuming the role of president, he served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer responsible for global marketing strategy, communications, and programs at Wind River. He joined the company in March 2010.

Prior to joining Wind River, he was chief executive officer of CodeGear, the leading independent Windows and Java software development tools company, which was acquired by Embarcadero Technologies. He has also served as president and chief executive officer of ReShape Inc., an electronic design automation startup, and as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Tality, Inc., a design services company launched as a spin-off of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. His experience also includes nearly a decade at Cadence in various senior management roles, including vice president of product marketing, with global responsibility for Cadence’s $950M software business. He earned a B.S. and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.

Bryan LeBlanc

Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration

Bryan LeBlanc oversees the company’s global financial strategy and operations. He brings to Wind River nearly three decades of extensive financial experience in small and large public high technology companies, offering deep expertise in M&A, cash management, equity/debt financing, and software revenue recognition.

Before joining Wind River, he was CFO of startup Spire Global Inc., a space to cloud analytics company. Prior to Spire, Bryan was CFO of Jive Software for nine years where he was instrumental in growing and scaling the company, as well as in efforts to launch the company’s initial public offering in 2011. Prior to Jive, he served in various finance positions of increasing responsibility at companies including Webtrends Inc., Mercury Interactive Corporation, and inSilicon Corporation. He holds an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from Santa Clara University and an undergraduate degree from Holy Cross College.

Doug Ertz

Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Doug Ertz is responsible for the leadership of the global sales team at Wind River. With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, he is leading the company's efforts to capitalize on long-term growth opportunities and align the sales organization with key customer and industry segments. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy and direction of Wind River sales operations across the company's multiple product lines. He joined Wind River in 2014 and most recently served as vice president of worldwide sales for the Wind River networking and simulation business units.

Prior to joining Wind River, he held sales leadership positions with major technology companies, including Spirent Communications, SAP, Manugistics (JDA Software), and Cadence Design Systems. He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Michel Genard

Vice President, Product

Michel Genard oversees the strategy and management of the comprehensive software portfolio at Wind River. Previously, he served as general manager of the Wind River operating systems business. Prior to that, he oversaw the virtual platform and simulation business as vice president and general manager for Wind River Simics.

Michel joined Wind River in March 2010 after the acquisition of Virtutech by Intel. He is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the software and hardware embedded market, with executive positions at Virtutech (acquired by Intel), TimeSys, Virtuallogix (acquired by Redbend), and Accelerated Technology (acquired by Mentor). He received his B.A. from CCIP Paris, France.

Michael Krutz

President and Managing Director of Wind River Japan KK

Michael Krutz oversees the company’s business and strategy in Japan. With more than 30 years of engineering, services, and general management experience, he most recently served as the company’s chief product officer responsible for the company’s business units, including core operating systems, connected vehicle, cloud technologies, and networking. He had previously served as senior vice president for automotive solutions at Wind River.

Prior to joining Wind River in 2009, he was the vice president for the Core Networks Division in Motorola's networks business. He has also held multiple engineering and services leadership positions in embedded software, aerospace and defense, satellite communications, and telecommunications/networking. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in business and electrical engineering/computer science from Marquette University.

Terese Lam

Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Terese Lam oversees the company’s global human resources organization. She brings to Wind River nearly 20 years of HR experience in both large multi-national and medium-sized high-growth organizations spanning across the globe, having lived in Australia, Singapore, France, UK, and now the U.S. Her most recent experience was as vice president and head of HR for AppDynamics, a global SaaS company. Before AppDynamics, she was executive HR leader for the GE Grid Software Solutions business leading integration and cultural transformation efforts following its acquisition of Alstom Grid. Prior to GE, she served in a range of leadership roles at Alstom Grid, including regional HR director for East Asia Pacific based in Singapore and vice president in charge of talent management based in Paris. She also founded after school company Tap in Talents, which she later sold.

She holds a Master’s degree in human resource management and training from University of Leicester and a Bachelor’s degree from Queensland University of Technology.

Rabih Maalouf

Vice President, Worldwide Engineering

Rabih Maalouf is responsible for the global R&D team at Wind River. In this role, he leads the delivery of innovative products that enable customers to meet the challenges and opportunities of the Internet of Things. With over 15 years of experience in the technology industry, he oversees the development of all cloud and operating system products to expand the company's reach in both new and existing markets.

Prior to joining Wind River, he served as a senior software developer at Nortel Networks, where he developed expertise in cellular and networking technologies. He has a B.Sc. in computer science with distinction from Bishop’s University, Canada.

Mychal McCabe

Vice President, Marketing

Mychal McCabe is responsible for leadership of the global marketing organization at Wind River, including corporate communications, marketing communications, demand generation, and field marketing. In this role, he oversees marketing strategy, brand, positioning, and messaging across all marketing channels. He joined Wind River in 2004 and has held roles related to various marketing disciplines including web development, web marketing, marketing communications, and product marketing. He also led the repositioning of Wind River as an IoT company.

Prior to joining Wind River, he held positions at Buzzsaw.com (a division of Autodesk). He holds a B.A. degree in English Literature from U.C. Berkeley.

Rich Mosher

Chief Legal Officer

Rich brings to Wind River more than 20 years of legal experience in a range of large, medium, and small technology companies, including some venture capital and private equity-backed. He has extensive cross-functional experience in multiple areas, including: M&A; public offerings; corporate securities; intellectual property; and corporate governance technology and content licensing.

His most recent experience was as vice president and head of corporate development, special counsel at Ring, a home security company owned by Amazon. Before Ring, he was senior vice president and general counsel at iControl Networks, an IoT home automation company acquired by Comcast and Alarm.com. Prior to iControl Networks, he served in general counsel roles at companies including Meru Networks, Actian Corp., and Intellisync.

He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego.

Gareth Noyes

Senior Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development

Gareth Noyes is responsible for overseeing Wind River corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions activities, as well as for leading the chief technology office. Charged with developing the company’s long-term technology vision, he has Wind River positioned to address the evolving market landscape and disruptive forces such as the Internet of Things, the virtualization of the network, and the transition to a software-defined world. He joined the company in January 1999 and has held roles in various areas, including engineering, product management, business development, and strategic alliances. He also led the acquisition of Wind River by Intel in 2009.

Prior to joining Wind River, he was a research scientist working at various European laboratories and universities, where he developed expertise in complex embedded control and data acquisition systems. He holds a Ph.D. in high-energy particle physics from the University of Birmingham (UK) and a B.Sc. in physics from Royal Holloway at the University of London.

Amit Ronen

Senior Vice President, Customer Success

Amit Ronen is responsible for managing customer-facing engineering groups across the globe, including field engineering, engineering specialists, professional services, and customer support organizations.

Before joining Wind River, he was the founder and CEO of Presales Solutions, a company that offered a unique on-demand hosted solution in the customer relationship management (CRM) space. Prior to Presales Solutions, he spent more than 10 years with Mercury Interactive, where he gained extensive executive and global field management experience. There he managed and built the presales organization in the Americas, expanding it from 40 people to more than 150 people and supporting revenue generation of more than half a billion dollars. In addition, he served as vice president of professional services for the Americas and vice president of Mercury’s Tuning business, a startup within the company. He was also a founding member of Mercury Interactive Japan KK and was responsible for all technical field operations in the Japan and Korea region.

He holds a B.A. in computer science and economics from Tel Aviv University in Israel and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program (SEP) of Stanford University in California.

Executive Chairman

Moshe Gavrielov served as president and CEO at Xilinx, Inc., where he drove the company through a broad strategic and operational transformation resulting in a significant market cap expansion approaching a valuation of $20B. Prior to Xilinx, he served as executive vice president and general manager of the verification division at Cadence Design Systems. Before that, he was CEO of Verisity, Ltd., where he drove the company’s emergence from a small private entity to a successful NASDAQ IPO, delivering ongoing profitable top- and bottom-line growth leading to eventual acquisition by Cadence for $315M.

Art Heidrich

Art Heidrich focuses on technology investments across TPG’s private equity platforms (TPG Capital, TPG Growth, and The Rise Fund). He has been or is currently involved with TPG’s investments in Advent Software, C3 IoT, Eze Software, IMS Health, RefleXion Medical, Sonatype, Vertafore, and WellSky. Prior to joining TPG, he worked in the Technology group at Morgan Stanley, where he advised on and executed M&A and corporate finance transactions.

Afshin Mohebbi served as president and chief operating officer of Qwest Communications International, Inc. Prior to Qwest, he was the president and managing director of United Kingdom Markets for British Telecom and a member of the company’s management board. Earlier, he was the president and managing director of BT’s business division. He currently serves as a senior advisor to TPG Capital and is a member of the board of directors of Dish Network, Digital Realty, Soraa, Artel, Apollo Towers, RCN Grande, and WTT.

Mark Fields served as president and CEO of Ford Motor Company and was a member of the company’s board of directors. He joined Ford in 1989 and progressed through a number of leadership positions, including executive vice president and president of the Americas, executive vice president and CEO of Premier Automotive Group and Ford Europe, chairman and CEO of the Premier Automotive Group, and president and CEO of Mazda Motor Corporation. He currently serves as a senior advisor to TPG and is a director on the following TPG portfolio companies: Ellucian, FleetPride, ATD, and Transplace. He also serves as an independent director on Qualcomm, Inc.
